Mr. John Eagle, Jr., died at his home in Franklin township, abont three miles from Salisbury, shortlv after midnight last night. Mr. Eagle arose between 11 and 12 o clock to dress a bruised foot for his child. Shortly after he had retired he was heard struggling ior breath, livery remedy avail able was resorted to but he died about half an hour later. ,. The deceased was a young man of 25 or 26 years and had a splendid character. He is survived bv a widow, and two children. Mr. II. , B. V arner, president, and Mr. J. B.
